Human Body Systems Project
Introduction
Over the past few weeks we have been studying about the human body and its incredible systems. In this project you will be collaborating to create a PowerPoint presentation describing the functions of the circulatory, respiratory, nervous, digestive, and skeletal systems.
The Process and Resources
You will be working together with a group of five students in class. Each group will explore the task. As a member of the group you will explore Websites from all over the world that have great information about Human Body Systems.
You'll begin with everyone in your group getting some background before dividing into roles where people on your team become experts on one part of the topic.
Phase 1 - Background: Something for Everyone
Use the Internet information linked below to answer the basic questions of who? what? where? when? why? and how? Be creative in exploring the information so that you answer these questions as fully and insightfully as you can.
Phase 2 - Looking Deeper from Different Perspectives
INSTRUCTIONS:
Individuals from your larger team will explore one of the roles below.
--The Circulatory System
--The Respiratory System
--The Nervous System
--The Digestive System
-- Skeletal System
Read through the files linked to your group. Take notes about important facts dealing with your system. Save pictures to your file so you can insert them later into your PowerPoint presentation. Each person will research and create their portion of the human body PowerPoint and then the individual power points will be merged together to create one presentation for your tea
Note: Remember to write down or copy/paste the URL of the file you take the passage from so you can quickly go back to it if you need to to prove your point.
Be prepared to focus what you've learned into one main opinion that answers the Task based on what you have learned from the links for your role.
